Are you ready for the Tea Party?

I’ve been on pins and needles waiting for the publication of How to Behave at a Tea Party, my book with illustrator Heather Ross, and now the date is here!

In the book, Julia and Charles have different ideas about what getting ready for a tea party means. For Julia, it’s a fancy hat and little sandwiches cut out with cookie cutters. For Charles, it’s overalls and a lot of burping. So what about you? How would you get ready for a tea party? Show us in a photo on social media, with a note that says you’re ready for the party and a link to this site: http://bit.ly/1osBLTQ. We’ll be using the hashtag #howtobehaveatateaparty on both twitter and Facebook. And if you want to tag @harpercollins on Twitter or HarperCollins Children’s Books on Facebook, you can do that, too.

We’d love to see what you come up with this week! Because everyone loves dressing up, right?

I’m just not sure whether to channel my inner Julia:

Or my inner Charles:

Either way, I’m ready for the tea party!

Thanks to Heather, our editor, Katie Bignell, everyone at Katherine Tegen Books, and YOU.

Madelyn
